President Donald Trump launched his second-term assault on mail-in ballots and electronic voting machines on Aug. 18, firing off a series of unfounded claims while announcing an effort to do away with both.

President Donald Trump said he will sign an executive order banning mail-in ballots and "inaccurate" voting machines." He has said 2020 election was "rigged."

Trump's action comes after his meeting with Vladimir Putin in Anchorage, where the Russian leader told him that mail-in ballots led to his electoral defeat in 2020, Trump said.
