More than 30 visitors at Southwick's Zoo in Mendon had to be rescued from gondolas that were stuck in the air on Monday after the "Sky Ride" attraction malfunctioned again.The fire department responded with ladder trucks to reach people who were stranded high up.

David Abbott and his family had only been at Southwick's Zoo for about an hour when he and two of his five children climbed aboard the Skyfari Sky Ride Monday, July 21. Just as the ride crossed over the alligator exhibit, the ride came to an unexpected stop.
