Saint Francis University announced Tuesday that it plans to reclassify its athletic program to Division III in time for the fall 2026 season. Red Flash teams will join the Presidents Athletic Conference. “This was not an easy nor a quick decision for the Board of Trustees,” stated Chairman and the Very Rev. Joseph Lehman, T.O.R., Ph.D.

Saint Francis University is making a major shift in its athletics program, announcing plans to reclassify from NCAA Division I to NCAA Division III and join the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) as its 13th full-time member.
