The crash damaged several homes, blowing a huge, blackened hole in a corner duplex, and ignited several cars in flames.

The NTSB says there was heavy fog and the runway lights were out when the plane landed in the dark.

Miraculously, everyone on the ground escaped safely, officials said, including a family of four who fled with their dogs after the aircraft tore off their home’s roof and engulfed it in flames.
