Netflix has ordered 10 episodes of a dramedy called "The Corps," which is inspired by the book "The Pink Marine: One Boy's Journey Through Boot Camp to Manhood" by Marine veteran Greg Cope White.

Norman Lear, a friend of White’s, wrote the forward to The Pink Marine. Lead actor Miles Heizer, 28, is best known for his roles in TV’s 13 Reasons Why and Parenthood.
