One man from Nebraska kept the party going after purchasing Michael Jordan’s Chicago-area mansion earlier this month.

John Cooper, a Chicago-area real estate executive who grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, told his hometown newspaper he's hosted several guests since buying the Hall of Famer's mansion Dec. 10 for $9.5 million.

John Cooper, of Lincolnshire, bought the mansion for $9.5 million Dec. 10, according to his hometown newspaper in Nebraska, the Lincoln Journal Star.

Initially listed in 2012 for $29 million, Michael Jordan's Highland Park estate lingered on the market, its price steadily dropping as the years passed. The mansion was finally sold for just $9.5 million in December 2024,
