On Monday night, Connecticut's Fairfield squad kept its Little League World Series dream alive by defeating Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Connecticut's offense scored 10 runs in the sixth inning on Monday night to put the finishing touches on a 13-1 victory over South Dakota.

They might have been the underdog when they got to Williamsport; but after winning their first three games the way they did, the other teams still standing know that if they take the field against Fairfield, they’re going to have their hands full. The last Connecticut team to make it to the United States Championship was Westport in 2013.

After a win over South Dakota on Monday night, the Fairfield National team continues their run in the Little League World Series. We spoke with the Fairfield community, and they say win or lose, they have the teams’ backs.
