When police arrived at the scene, they learned Joseph Gray, 40, of Lakeland, had been shot by his brother-in-law, Jermaine Harrison, 40, of Lakeland, inside the home, according to LPD.

Lakeland police say a 40-year-old man shot his brother-in-law to death then briefly kidnapped a woman at a West Lakeland mobile home park.

His brother-in-law, 40-year-old Jermaine Harrison, had just shot him, police said. Gray was rushed to a local hospital where he later died.
