P ORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Mercy Chefs, a Virginia-based disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization, is responding to the devastating tornadoes in Kentucky and Missouri.

Much of Indiana and Kentucky join Illinois and parts of Missouri under a tornado watch that lasts through the evening. Damaging winds are expected and a few tornadoes are possible in this area.
