Jon Rahm has withdrawn from LIV Golf’s team championship. Ahead of its season finale in Dallas this weekend, LIV released a statement that the two-time major champ has pulled out of its event, citing flu-like symptoms.

The third LIV Golf season comes to an end this week at the Team Championship outside of Dallas, Texas. Jon Rahm, the captain of Legion XIII, has withdrawn from the event and his LIV season is over a few days early.

Rahm withdrew prior to Legion XIII’s first match against the Phil Mickelson-led HyFlyers because of “severe flu symptoms,” which he had been experiencing for the past few days, according to a LIV statement.

Rahm earned $22 million— $4 million for LIV Chicago and $18 million for the season-long title—increasing his on-course winnings from LIV in 2024 to $37.9 million.
