Georgia Congressman Buddy Carter said two of his granddaughters were at Camp Mystic with four of their cousins when the flood waters rose. One of their cousins, Janie Hunt, didn't make it.

Rep. Buddy Carter's granddaughters survived flooding at Texas Camp Mystic, but their cousin perished. The camp saw heavy casualties after a rapid deluge. Carter praised first responders and mentioned trauma counseling for his granddaughters.
