Demonstrators were seen waving Nazi flags in Michigan on November 9, as a stage adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank was being performed locally. Footage captured by Alex Sutliff shows several masked men with swastika flags in Fowlerville on the night.

The Fowlerville Community Theater used the American Legion Devereaux Post 141 for its production about Frank, whose historical diary of hiding from Nazis during World War II. During the performance, members of the post confronted the demonstrators.

Demonstrators holding flags with Nazi swastikas targeted two rural Michigan towns over the weekend, including the site of a community theater production of “The Diary of Anne Frank.” They also reportedly chanted a pro-Donald Trump slogan.

There's been another white supremacist demonstration in Howell; this time in response to a local production of "The Diary of Anne Frank."
