The Broncos ‘ lone home preseason game has a date and kickoff time. Denver’s preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals has been set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16 at Empower Field.

The other Broncos prime-time game that should have been included is the Sunday Night Football game against the Washington Commanders in Week 13. The two best rookie quarterbacks last season, looking to do it again in Year 2 and going head-to-head for the first time, is must-see TV.

The Denver Broncos will make NFL history when they return from a trip to London this fall and play another game the following week. Not having a bye week right after an international game is not unprecedented -- it has happened 19 times leading up to this season -- but it's certainly not common.
