A suspect has been charged with ramming the vehicle of a Border Patrol agent in Vermont, about one month after U.S. Border Patrol agent David Maland was killed in Vermont during a traffic stop near the Canadian border.

David Christopher “Chris” Maland, 44, was killed Jan. 20 while working in Vermont. He pulled over a car, believing one of the two passengers had an expired visa.

The border patrol agent that was shot and killed last month during a traffic stop in Coventry will be buried Saturday.
