Danish drugmaker Novo Nordisk said several hundred counterfeit units of its diabetes drug Ozempic were being distributed in the United States.

Drug maker Novo Nordisk (NVO), on Monday, warned consumers about counterfeit versions of its diabetes drug Ozempic in the U.S. after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) seized counterfeit drugs last week.

The maker of Ozempic and federal regulators are sending out warnings about counterfeit versions of the anti-diabetic drug after several hundred fake units were seized outside the authorized supply chain.
