PIKE — When the Pratt Truss Bridge was showing its age, demolition was just one of the options. But a better solution was found for the old span that used to be located in Cowlesville.

In 1887, a single-span Pratt truss bridge over the Manitowoc River on Green Bay Road, south of the village of Manitowoc Rapids, was built by the Wisconsin Bridge & Iron Co. of Milwaukee.
