The Tar Heels lost to No. 1 Duke in the ACC Tournament semifinals, but have won eight of their past 10 games and are playing their best basketball of the season.

This is a player the Tar Heel staff clearly had been targeting for some time. Veesaar entered the transfer portal on March 31 and immediately scheduled the UNC trip, traveling to Chapel Hill the very next day for his official visit. It was the only school he visited as part of his portal recruitment.

The North Carolina Tar Heels need to address their lack of height in the post. UNC is bringing in Arizona center Henri Veesaar for an April 2 visit.
