With chat themes, users can change the colors of their chat bubbles and backgrounds. WhatsApp offers a range of pre-set themes that automatically adjust both the background and bubbles.

Go to Settings by tapping the cogwheel icon on the top right corner of the app’s bottom panel on iPhone, tapping the three dots on the top right corner and selecting Settings on WhatsApp’s Android app. Head to Chats, followed by a tap on Default Chat Theme. Choose a theme and apply it with or without customisations.

Meta-owned WhatsApp has introduced a couple of new features that make the messaging platform more colorful. WhatsApp now has pre-set chat themes and backgrounds, which can be applied to all chats or individual chats.
