Los Angeles is a city of stars, so it was only fitting that Lionel Messi was back in the Inter Miami starting lineup for the Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinal game against LAFC late Wednesday night.

When Inter Miami traveled to Kingston, Jamaica, last month to play Cavalier FC in the Concacaf Champions Cup round of 16, Cheuko was in attendance but not seen on the pitch patrolling Messi’s movements at the National Stadium. Concacaf handles team security protocols for its competitions.

Messi has been recovering from a groin injury suffered earlier this month. He's available, but it remains to be seen how much. And he's far from the only Miami player who can give the Union trouble.
