An estimated 12 to 18 inches of snow is expected in the Cascade Mountains, and officials are warning of extreme winter driving conditions.

On Sunday at 5:03 a.m. the NWS Medford OR released a winter storm warning in effect until 11 p.m. The warning is for Western Siskiyou County, South Central Siskiyou County and North Central and Southeast Siskiyou County.

California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and parts of Wyoming and Michigan were forecast to see wintry weather on Sunday.
