AMADOR COUNTY, Calif. — The Amador County Fair is up and running this weekend. Organizers are extending an invitation for people to come and see, experience and taste life in the Foothills.

PLYMOUTH (CBS13) - The dozens of Caldor Fire evacuees camping at the Amador County Fairgrounds were told to go by Thursday morning. The animals can stay, but the humans cannot.

The Amador County Fair opened its gates on Thursday morning and will run through the weekend. An estimated 40,000 people are expected to attend and enjoy several exhibits and attractions.
