Co-written and co-directed by Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza, an Iraq War veteran, Warfare starts off as a normal day for a group of Navy SEALs, as they relax and watch music videos for fun before scouting out into enemy territory for a stake-out to ensure another troop's safety.

An idea came to director Alex Garland on the set of his thought-provoking action extravaganza "Civil War." Soon, the idea consumed him. He was watching military advisor Ray Mendoza during a scene when our intrepid band of journalists finally infiltrate the White House.

"Warfare" has a relatively simple mission: to drop audiences into the chaos of a Navy SEAL mission gone wrong, told in real time and drawn from memory.
