The first lady was thanked in a separate X post from Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday night after several references to the 55-year-old absentee during Trump’s meeting with the Ukrainian president and a number of European leaders.

It’s possible Trump has good reason to believe Putin is ready to deal; we’re not privy to the behind-the-scenes machinations and we still don’t know what precisely prompted this meeting.
