Thomas Mueller made his Major League Soccer debut on Sunday as a second-half substitute for Vancouver Whitecaps in a 1-1 draw with Houston Dynamo that left the Germany great with "mixed feelings" after he had a goal disallowed for offside.

For the first time in his career, Thomas Müller played for a club that isn’t FC Bayern Munich. The 35-year-old entered the field for the last half an hour in Vancouver Whitecaps’ 1-1 draw with Houston Dynamo.

Müller came on in the 61st minute of Sunday's home game against the Houston Dynamo, making his first MLS appearance after signing for the Whitecaps earlier this month. With Vancouver up 1-0, Brian White got on the end of a ball over the top and found Mathías Laborda, who teed up the German legend at the top of the box.

Jose Artur scored in second-half stoppage time, giving the Houston Dynamo a 1-1 draw with the host Vancouver Whitecaps on Sunday night and tempering the MLS debut of Thomas Muller.
