On Tuesday morning, a statue of Johnny Cash was unveiled at the U.S. Capitol. The "Man in Black" is now the first statue of a musician in the Capitol.

The statue of the “Man in Black” was donated by his home state of Arkansas, making Cash the first musician represented in the National Statuary Hall Collection.
