Ukraine’s security service, the SBU, said on Tuesday that it had hit the bridge connecting Russia and the occupied Crimean peninsula with explosives planted underwater.

It would be the third time Ukraine had struck the bridge. The claim comes two days after one of the country’s most ambitious operations of the war, deep inside Russia.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) on Tuesday claimed to have conducted a new attack on Russia's Kerch Strait Bridge -- which links occupied Crimea to Russia's Krasnodar Krai region -- two days after the service's dramatic drone strikes on Russia's strategic bomber fleet.
