An employee from AR Dairy Food Private Limited—a Tamil Nadu-based company facing allegations of supplying adulterated ghee to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) for Sri Venkateswara Temple prasadam—has dismissed the claims as “absurd.

In his comments to a Tamil news channel Friday, Kannan, a quality control officer at the Dindigul-based AR Dairy Food, called the allegations “unsubstantiated”.

In a press conference on Thursday, TDP spokesperson Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy displayed the purported lab report which apparently confirmed the presence of “beef tallow”, "lard" (relating to pig fat) and fish oil in the given ghee sample.
