Ford is recalling more than 694,000 Bronco Sport and Escape SUVs due to a risk of engine fire sparked by cracked and leaking fuel injectors, the company said.

Ford has issued a recall for more than 694,000 Bronco Sport and Escape vehicles due to a fire hazard. The compact SUVs are being recalled because a fuel injector may crack and leak and potentially cause a fire,

The cracked fuel injector may allow gas to leak and could cause a fire if the fuel drips onto a hot engine or parts of the exhaust system.
