The U.S. Supreme Court is allowing members of the Trump administration's Department of Government Efficiency to access personal Social Security Administration data.

Yesterday, Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke on the phone for over an hour in a bid to jumpstart stalled trade talks between the two economic powers. The two sides had agreed to a truce in May after similar high-level negotiations in Geneva, each country agreeing to significantly lower high tariffs on the other's goods.

The Supreme Court has handed the Trump administration two victories in cases involving the Department of Government Efficiency, including giving it access to Social Security systems containing personal data on millions of Americans.
