During the NVIDIA GTC conference in San Jose, CA, the GPU giant announced two small supercomputers: the DGX Spark and DGX Station. Both supercomputers use the NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra platform and are targeted to developers, researchers, data scientists, and students training, running inference, and deploying large language models.

Two new Nvidia computers, DGX Spark and DGX Station, are designed to let users prototype and fine-tune models at the edge.

NVIDIA is building a desktop supercomputer. At the company's GTC conference today, CEO Jensen Huang announced DGX Spark and DGX Station. We got a first look at the former during CES earlier this year when Huang and company revealed Project Digits.

The firm said in a statement that the new NVIDIA Accelerated Quantum Research Center would combine academic institutions and business partners to enable development of hybrid quantum algorithms and handle important issues such quantum error correction.

The chipmaker NVIDIA held its annual conference in Silicon Valley this week. Among the major announcements: it chose Boston to be the site of its first-ever research center for quantum computing, opening later this year.
