The wait for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series could almost be over, as according to a report the S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will all be announced on January 23.

With a Galaxy S25 Slim reportedly in development, Samsung seems to be saying that any phone Apple makes, it can make thinner. And should the rumored addition to Samsung's Galaxy S25 lineup surface next year as leakers have suggested, 2025 could turn out to be a big year for slimmed-down phones.

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S25 series on January 5, 2025, according to a leaked survey. The timing of this launch is earlier than expected, as the Galaxy S24 launched in late January, while the Galaxy S23 debuted in mid-February.

In the case of the iPhone 17 Air, Apple will apparently now use the same battery technology as its existing phones, and the iPhone 17 Air will be thicker than 6mm. Neither of these leak sources say how thick, but around 6mm is apparently what Apple was previously aiming for.

In 2024, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 series on January 17 which was scheduled as per the previous trends and timeline. However, the tech giant launched its foldable a little early of its schedule, therefore, it will not be a surprise if Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S25 series earlier than expected.

A recent report revealed that the upcoming Samsung S-series will include a new model called the Galaxy S25 Slim, in addition to the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. Speculation suggests that the S25 Slim will be designed to compete directly with Apple’s rumored iPhone 17 Slim,
