Netflix’s series adaptation of The Pink Marine is finally due for release globally this October.

The cast includes Miles Heizer as Cameron, Liam Oh as Ray and Vera Farmiga as Barbara Cope, the protagonist's mother. Max Parker, Joy Osmanski, Ana Ayora and Angus O’Brien also appear in the series.

Netflix has ordered 10 episodes of a dramedy called "The Corps," which is inspired by the book "The Pink Marine: One Boy's Journey Through Boot Camp to Manhood" by Marine veteran Greg Cope White.

Norman Lear, a friend of White’s, wrote the forward to The Pink Marine. Lead actor Miles Heizer, 28, is best known for his roles in TV’s 13 Reasons Why and Parenthood.
