The New Orleans Pelicans have reportedly hired Troy Weaver to become the the team's new senior vice president. He is the first new reported hire since new vice president of basketball operations Joe Dumars began his new gig on Monday.

The New Orleans Pelicans, led by Joe Dumars, have parted ways with two top execs from David Griffin’s staff as front office changes continue.

Dumars also said of players who are a distraction or unreliable, "You have to set standards — and you can’t waver from those standards."
