McLaren's Lando Norris starts on pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix as he seeks to keep his winning run going and boost his Formula 1 title chances against teammate Oscar Piastri.

In Saturday's qualifying session at Spa, the Briton pipped his rival by just 0.065 seconds. If Norris claims his third win in succession and fifth of the season overall, Piastri will only be able to hold on to top spot by coming second.

Tonight, Australian Oscar Piastri starts second on the grid for the Belgian Grand Prix, at the historic Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps. Piastri holds a narrow nine-point lead over teammate Lando Norris, who will start tonight's race on pole.

The Belgian Grand Prix is under serious threat of cancellation after heavy rain lashed Spa-Francorchamps, leading to a cancellation of the F3 round.

In the wake of the Canadian Grand Prix, which saw the first highly anticipated on-track clash between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, the big question was how Norris would respond.
