Former Buffalo Bills running back Nyheim Hines is returning to the NFL after spending the last two seasons on the sidelines.

A fourth-round selection by the Colts in 2018, Hines played his first four-plus seasons in Indianapolis before he was traded to the Buffalo Bills during the 2022 season. In return, the Colts would receive running back Zach Moss and a 2023 conditional sixth-round pick.

Running back Nyheim Hines, who hasn't played in the NFL the past two seasons because of a knee injury, reached agreement on a contract with the Chargers, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
