Mondo Duplantis broke the pole vault world record for the 12th time in his career in front of a delighted home crowd in Stockholm, Sweden.

Mondo Duplantis fulfilled a “dream” by setting his latest pole vault world record in his home county of Sweden. The 25-year-old has now broken the world record 12 times, bettering the record he managed in February by 1cm on his home turf in Stockholm.

Mondo Duplantis has lifted his pole vault world record to 6.28 meters at a Diamond League meet at the Olympic Stadium in the Swedish capital.
