Israel announced Saturday it had killed Mohammed Sinwar, the chief commander of Hamas’s military wing and younger brother of slain militant leader Yahya Sinwar.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the man believed to be the head of Hamas’ armed wing, Mohammed Sinwar, has been killed, apparently confirming his death in a recent strike in the Gaza Strip.
