Pittsburgh Pirates pitching star Paul Skenes has been named a finalist for the National League Cy Young Award and National League Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year Award.

Recognition is rolling in for Paul Skenes after his stellar rookie campaign. The former LSU star flew through the Pirates minor league system to make his debut in May, less than a year after being drafted.

The Pittsburgh Pirates are making a significant addition to their coaching staff. According to a report from Scott Mitchell of TSN, the Pirates are hiring Matt Hague from the Toronto Blue Jays as their hitting coach.
