The headquarters of Mississippi’s largest National Guard unit is making a move from its longtime home in Tupelo to a new location in Columbia.

Six Republican states have sent National Guard troops to Washington, D.C., in response to President Trump's crime crackdown, amid questions about the operation's focus.

Tennessee has sent 160 National Guard troops to Washington, D.C., as President Donald Trump and the White House continue to push their crime fighting directive.
