Bayron Matos suffered an injury during the Miami Dolphins training camp practice on Wednesday, July 23. The injury warranted a helicopter to airlift Matos out of the practice facility and taken to a local hospital. He is said to be in a stable condition.

Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Bayron Matos was seriously injured Wednesday on the first day of training camp. The team said Matos was airlifted to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital after suffering an injury at the end of the practice. While they did not disclose the nature of the injury, they did say he was stable.

Bayron Matos is the team's international player - he's from the Dominican Republic - and does not count toward the roster limit.
