Con, it has been announced that Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride’s journey across Europe as Daryl and Carol is coming to an end, with the spinoff series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon set to conclude with its newly-announced fourth and final season.

Con panel Friday yielded good news and bad for fans of the franchise’s fifth spinoff. On the plus side, AMC has renewed the series for Season 4; in fact, production is set to begin in Spain before July is over.

It was also confirmed at the show's San Diego Comic-Con panel that 'Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon' will end with a fourth and final season.
