No. 7 Tennessee softball held the nation’s top home-run hitting team without a run in Sunday’s Knoxville Regional Final, pulling away late, 5-0. The victory earned the Lady Vols a third-consecutive appearance in the NCAA Super Regionals.

For the third straight season, Tennessee softball has advanced to a Super Regional. It also marks the third consecutive year the Lady Vols will host on Rocky Top.

The Tennessee Lady Vols beat Ohio State 4-2 to reach the regional final, with pitcher Karlyn Pickens striking out 10 batters.

The Ohio State Buckeyes softball team beat the Miami Redhawks 11-1 in the Knoxville Regional. OSU stays alive and will rematch with Tennessee May 18.
