Kendrick Lamar, Doechii, and GloRilla were among the artists nominated for honors at the 56th annual NAACP Image Awards.

NAACP Image Award nominations were announced on Tuesday (Jan. 7) and the categories are stacked. GloRilla leads the music nods with six overall while Doechii, Kendrick Lamar, and Usher share four respective nods.

The NAACP Image Award for Entertainer of the Year may determine which celebrity had the biggest year for Black audiences.

Netflix film The Piano Lesson led the field with 14 NAACP Image Award nominations on Tuesday.
