On Saturday, November 2, 2024, at approximately 12:05 p.m. HST, an earthquake with a 10 km depth was recorded about 63.7 miles south of Hilo, Hawaii.

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.8 has shaken eastern Cuba after weeks of hurricanes and blackouts that have left many on the island reeling.

Cuba was rocked by two earthquakes with the largest clocking in as a 6.8 magnitude that was felt as far north as Orlando Florida, which sites more than 500 miles away from the island.
