Nearly 50 cities in Florida will host events protesting the Trump administration under the name “Good Trouble Lives On."
Barbara Arnwine, the president and founder of the nonprofit civil liberties group Transformative Justice Coalition, said the demonstrations are meant to serve as a means to keep racial justice in the national conversation.
"Good Trouble Lives On" protests will be taking place across the country on Thursday, including in Central Florida. Nearly 50 Florida cities are expected to host the national day of action protests in response to "the attacks on our civil and human rights" by Donald Trump's administration.
During the "No Kings" protests on June 14, TCPalm reported that n umerous people peacefully demonstrated in Vero Beach, Port St. Lucie and Sebastian as part of the nationwide protests, which coincided with Flag Day, President Donald Trump's 79th birthday, and the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary celebration and military parade.
