Francisco Lindor is still day to day with his fractured right pinkie toe heading into the Rockies series on Friday night in Denver.

New York Mets star shortstop Francisco Lindor told reporters on Thursday that he broke his right pinky toe after getting hit by a Tony Gonsolin slider during Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor broke his toe Wednesday at Dodger Stadium on a hit-by-pitch. Lindor told reporters that he intends to play through the ailment and avoid the injured list. He is not in the lineup for Thursday’s series finale against the Dodgers.
