The Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate in Edo State, Asue Ighodalo, has lamented the alleged irregularities in the ongoing governorship election in the state. He stated this on Sunday during a press conference organised by the Edo PDP National Campaign Council,

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Asue Ighodalo, said the Edo state governorship might end up as the worst election in the history of Nigeria.

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State governorship election, Asue Ighodalo, has decries that the election could be remembered as the worst election in Nigeria’s history due to numerous alleged irregularities.

The PDP called for the restoration of the collation process in accordance with the Electoral Act and INEC rules and regulations for the Edo election. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the results of the Edo governorship election garnered by its collation agents across the state.

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and election materials have yet to arrive at Idrion Vocational Centre, a voting center in Okaegben, Ewohimi, Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo State.
