U.S. television ratings for the Stanley Cup Final rematch between the Panthers and Oilers declined from their first matchup a year ago, and rated lower than February's 4 Nations Face-Off which saw Canada defeat the U.

Edmonton Oilers general manager Stan Bowman is looking at an active summer. The last remnants of the Ken Holland era burned out Tuesday night in Sunrise, Fla., just as dusk arrived in the city of Edmonton.

It was the third straight appearance in the Stanley Cup finals for the Panthers, with the team’s only loss coming in 2023 against the Vegas Golden Knights.
