Country music veteran Dolly Parton has announced the world premiere of “Dolly: An Original Musical," which will hit the stage for four weeks in Nashville, Tennessee, this summer and then make its way to New York’s Broadway in 2026. Parton says she wants audiences to look beyond the glory and fame of her career and “see the person inside.”

Tennessee native Parton revealed the upcoming summer dates for the musical during a press conference held at Belmont's Fisher Center For the Performing Arts.
