A man was charged Friday with murder, attempted murder and assault for the downtown Denver stabbing spree along the 16th Street Mall that killed two and sent two others to the hospital last weekend. Denver police are searching for a suspect accused of stabbing three people near the 16th Street Mall on Saturday night. One woman who was stabbed later died of her injuries, according to police.

A homicide suspect was arrested after four separate stabbing incidents left two dead and two others injured near Denver’s 16th Street Mall over the weekend. One of the people stabbed was a flight attendant on a layover who was at the wrong place at the wrong time when she was stabbed in the seemingly random attacks.

Elijah Caudill, 24, was arrested on investigation of two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder, according to jail records.
